Honestly I hate filling in the about me section of anything. It reminds me of the interview question “tell me about ourself.” Which I’ve never really been great at. So I guess I’ll insert the cliche basics.

I’m a late 30 something Mom. I have four biological children and two bonus kiddos. I work a full time job and am currently on my second marriage. ( I failed horribly at my first.) Still a valid sore spot for me. But we can discuss that later. On top of the kiddos at my house. My little fam bam currently has four dogs, four cats, and a crazy sun conure named peaches. Peaches is more a security alarm than a dog hands down.

Based of the above information you may gather my life is what I define as a hot mess. Hence why I refer to myself as the Hot Mess Express Momma. Or H.M.E.M. I have learned to just embrace it.

I spent the little free time I have writing, and well hiking. Writing provides me with solace, stability, and a place where I can find myself. It can also bring me the humor I need in my life. What fun is it if you can’t laugh at yourself from time to time.

My hope is to show others that it’s ok to not have it all together all the time. It’s not like this life comes with an instruction manual. So settle in and enjoy the ride on the Hot Mess Express. I’m glad you’re here!
